NEW ERA CAP LAUNCHES ITS LATEST DESIGN COLLABORATION WITH NATIONAL RECORDING GROUP

-- Gym Class Heroes To Launch Their Commemorative Cap at New Era Flagship Store --

WHO: New Era Cap, the headwear designer and manufacturer and Gym Class Heroes, the indie/rock/hip-hop band

WHAT: New Era is celebrating its latest design collaboration with national recording group, Gym Class Heroes at a launch event at the company’s New York City flagship store. The band will be on site for photo opps and to sign autographs.

The limited edition caps, 150 in total, will be available for $45 at all New Era Flagship stores, online at www.neweracap.com and at Leaders in Chicago,IL.

The band took a huge interest in designing a cap that represented them and their fans. At a design session in Buffalo, New York, in July, Travis McCoy and the group took inspiration from their album and their recent collaboration with Nike to create a cap that reflects their style and individuality.

The 59FIFTY fitted cap features a predominantly camel and sky blue color wool exterior. The interior is not only lined with satin, but each panel is screen printed with a different scene. The back panels reflect the artwork from the bands’ latest album “As Cruel As School Children”, and the mid- and front panels each have a band member’s portrait screen printed on them. The design on the lining inside the cap is a direct hook-up to the band’s album cover.
