NEW ERA CAP HOSTS ELITE YOUTH BASEBALL TOURNAMENT IN BUFFALO IN 2008

WHO: New Era Cap Company, Mayor Byron Brown, Inferno Baseball and the Buffalo Bisons

WHAT: With baseball in full swing, New Era Cap is proud to announce that it will host the company’s first annual baseball tournament, dubbed the “New Era Cap Classic,” in 2008 for youth teams across the country.

New Era, with the help of Inferno Baseball, is currently recruiting elite youth teams and players to participate in this event. The goal is have 125 teams visit, stay and play in Buffalo and Western New York. The dates of the tournament are as follows, depending on the age group:
July 17th – 20th, 2008
July 31st – Aug. 3rd, 2008

Professional and colleges scouts are invited to attend the tournament.

Teams will play in preliminary, semi-final and final games at various baseball diamonds throughout Western New York, with the championship games to be played at Dunn Tire Park.
